Summary

The job is for a Controller role working remotely, responsible for handling various financial operations. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting with at least 10 years of experience, CMA or CPA certification, strong analytical skills, leadership abilities, and excellent communication skills.

• Minimum of a Bachelor Degree in Accounting, combined with 10+ years experience in Accounting/Finance; CMA or CPA strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all aspects of accounting (accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, general ledger entries, bank reconciliation, credit card reconciliation, cash applications, collections, and payroll)
• Responsible for timely and accurate financial month end close and balance sheet reconciliation
• Responsible for quarterly budget reporting
• Responsible for cash management, including performing wire payments to contractors and ACH payments
• Coordinate and direct the development and preparation of budgets, forecasts, and projections
• Assist CPAs in gathering documents for preparation of annual tax returns
• Review UK and EU VAT taxes, corporate taxes, and ensure timely payments
• Review and maintain annual business licenses
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, bank reports, and various detailed analysis reports, including MISC-1099 and other managerial reports as required
• Perform other job-related duties and special projects as assigned
