Requirements

  • Educated to degree level
  • 7+ years' experience in information security controls assurance or IT audit (Big 4' and/or internal audit experience desirable)
  • An understanding of IT systems and operation
  • Experienced performing controls testing
  • Experience of data analytics or monitoring
  • Experience working in a multinational environment
  • Broad knowledge of compliance regulation, controls, and an in-depth understanding of risks, assessment methodologies and assurance activities
  • Experienced at partner management with the ability to work with multiple team members

Responsibilities

  • Identify testing activities as part of the assurance planning process
  • Manage control tests, including coordinating with partners, overseeing the activities of control testing leads and analysts (both local and overseas), and reviewing the quality of work performed
  • Prepare draft reports reflecting the results of work performed, agree on findings and proposed actions with business owners, and present findings to senior managers and risk management forums
  • Work with the Data Analytics team to identify opportunities to use high-quality data analytics within testing teams during planning, fieldwork, and reporting
  • Ensure the testing team complies with the assurance methodology
  • Maintain the risk universe to support the identification and prioritisation of testing and reporting of results and coverage
  • Lead the development of the testing methodology, including risk assessment and planning assurance activities over critical important controls
  • Provide feedback to the design and implementation teams on any insights identified as part of control testing
