Manager Business Control

Join Eurofins Environment Testing Benelux as their new Business Control Manager and become the right hand to the regional business line leader, contributing to strategic initiatives and leading three teams: Business Control, Credit Control, and Purchasing Support. Requirements

• Have a MSc. in Business Administration or similar
• Have at least 7 years of experience
• Have people management experience (preferably with a strong focus on business controlling)
• Have a strategic mindset (helicopter view) but can also dive into details when needed
• Be energetic, very good in communication (verbally, visually and in writing, both in Dutch and English)
• Quickly gain understanding of the business and its drivers and can motivate his or her team as well as all stakeholders (inside and outside the business) to deliver results
• Be sensitive to all stakeholders’ interests and can easily communicate across all levels of the business
• Be analytical, detail-oriented but also persuasive
• Not be afraid to ask difficult questions and challenge
• Consistently deliver high-quality products

Responsibilities

• Lead the Business Control, Credit Control, and Purchasing Support teams
• Support the business and enable optimal financial performance
• Report to the regional business line leader
• Contribute to the strategic agenda in the cluster (organizational development, site strategy, M&A etc.)
• Analyze, report and advise on productivity, pricing and margin management and cost control
• Enable the business to steer directly using uniform dashboards tailored to the specific functions in the business
• Improve automation of processes and controls within Finance, freeing up time for value-added advising
• Be the “right-hand” to the regional business line leader, not only in financial topics, but also with regards to the strategic agenda in the cluster
