Summary

Join Oyster's Corporate Governance team as a high-performing specialist based in India. You will assist in managing the demands of a growing global HR/tech company, working with legal teams and external partners on corporate governance tasks. Responsibilities include entity creation and management, database maintenance, coordinating filings and documentation, and handling administrative tasks. Prior experience in risk, compliance, or governance is required, along with strong communication and organizational skills. Responsibilities

  • Assisting outside vendor with corporate entity creation and management tasks
  • Working with various external and internal teams to maintain corporate governance-related databases and information and contribute to the organization’s single source of truth by ensuring accurate documentation
  • Coordinating filings and documentation related to company secretarial services, directorship and registered address
  • Coordinating contract and document signatures using company’s preferred electronic signature software
  • Performing various administrative tasks (scheduling, meeting management, etc.)
  • Assisting with legal escalations including responding to inquiries from internal business stakeholders regarding our corporate subsidiaries
  • Working cross-functionally to fulfill Oyster's Mission and Vision
  • Build and maintain strong relationships within the Legal department and with cross-functional departments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with remote work
  • Prior experience in a corporate legal department or entity management group, a plus
  • Proficient in Google Suite of products (Gmail, Google Doc, Google Sheets)
  • Experience with Entity Management software preferred (e.g., Klea, or the like)
  • Familiarity with a client relationship management system (such as Zendesk, Salesforce, ServiceNow) a plus
  • Electronic signature software experience preferred (e.g., HelloSign, DocuSign)
  • Working in Notion and Asana very helpful
