Requirements

  • Proven experience in payments or financial systems in Chile
  • Familiarity with payments regulatory framework
  • Significant experience in negotiating and executing contracts and agreements
  • Established a business network in Chile’s financial ecosystem
  • A self-starter who thrives in fast-changing, ambiguous environments
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with a proven ability to align diverse teams
  • Strategic thinker who takes smart risks based on a deep understanding of partnerships and market dynamics
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Team player capable of leading projects and contributing as an effective team member
  • Flexibility to work across time zones and collaborate with global teams
  • Fluent English

Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage potential partners, including acquirers and banks, building strong, long-term relationships
  • Develop and finalize commercial partnerships and agreements, ensuring mutual success
  • Work closely with internal operations, product, and technology teams to align on partnership integration and roadmap execution
  • Analyze results, identify trends, and implement improvements to enhance operational capabilities for local payment methods
  • Stay informed on local regulatory and licensing requirements, ensuring compliance and guiding business decisions
  • Partner with merchants and commercial teams to drive the development and optimization of key payment products
  • Maintain a strong professional network, participate in industry organizations, and attend relevant conferences and events
  • Collaborate with local lawyers, accountants, and tax experts to maintain smooth and compliant operations
