Summary

Join Infinx as a Revenue Cycle credit Balance Associate and work remotely to analyze and resolve credit balances for our healthcare clients. You will run system reports, approve refunds, collaborate with other departments, and oversee credit balance remediation. Responsibilities include managing client emails, researching and initiating refunds, assisting team members, providing feedback and mentoring, developing training materials, and serving as backup. You will also conduct payer credit audits and Medicare credit reports. This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, experience reading EOBs, and a thorough understanding of hospital and physician's clinic cash posting processes. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience reading EOBs
  • Thorough understanding of hospital and physician's clinic cash posting process
  • At least 3 years of Revenue Cycle Management experience
  • At least 1 year of Leadership experience
  • Knowledge of medical billing and insurance practices
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Ability to quickly adapt to and proficiently navigate diverse software applications required to manage assigned tasks
  • Ability to exercise independent judgement when needed
  • Detail-oriented with time management and analytical skills
  • Be a self-starter and quick learner
  • Work well independently and as a team
  • Maintain regular attendance and punctuality

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and resolve credit balances
  • Run system reports
  • Approving all Patient and Insurance Refunds to ensure accuracy
  • Collaborating with other departments
  • Oversight of the remediation of credit balances to ensure all accounts are researched and worked accurately
  • Manage client emails
  • Research and initiate refund on all patient accounts with credit balances when appropriate
  • Assist credit balance team members with day-to-day questions, issues, or problems
  • Meet with credit team members regularly to provide feedback and mentoring
  • Develop and maintain training materials to conduct training and mentoring sessions for new and existing staff
  • Serve as a back up credit balance associate when team members are on PTO
  • Verify credit balance team is working correspondence and refund letters in a timely manner
  • Responsible for Payer Credit audits and Medicare Credit Report
  • Any other duties as assigned
