Customer Care Representative

Summary

Join Sutherland as a Part-Time Customer Service Representative and deliver exceptional service to customers through inbound calls and chat. You will utilize leading technologies, supported by a dedicated team. The position requires full-time training for two weeks, followed by a mandatory 8-hour Monday shift and the option to add up to 12 more hours weekly. Requirements

• Possess high school diploma or GED; an Associate's degree is a plus
• Be proficient with PCs, possess strong keyboard skills, and have basic MS Office knowledge
• Maintain excellent Internet connectivity: Internet access speeds of 2 Mbps upload and 10 Mbps download
• Have a hardwired internet connection; wireless and/or satellite Internet Service Providers are not compatible with our systems
• Work in a quiet and distraction-free, secure place
• Be available for full-time training (40 hours/week) for two consecutive weeks
• Work a mandatory 8-hour shift every Monday between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM
• Be available for up to 12 additional hours throughout the week (Tuesday to Friday) between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Handle customer calls of varying types (i.e., service requests, billing questions, energy conservation advice, etc.) effectively and efficiently
• Utilize strong communication and active listening skills, as well as the ability to leverage probing questions to resolve issues
• Maintain strong attention to detail and the ability to effectively multitask
