Customer Support Agent

Summary

The job involves providing customer support via various channels, resolving product issues, maintaining professionalism, documenting interactions, collaborating with the team, staying informed about new products, and meeting targets. The role is remote, full-time, and requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 2-5 years of customer support experience, phone support, familiarity with Shopify and Gorgias, excellent communication skills, ability to multitask, empathy, fluency in English, and availability for shifts between 8 AM and 10 PM CST. The position offers a competitive salary, two consecutive days off, and additional perks.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; higher education or certifications related to customer service are a plus
• 2-5 years of proven customer support experience
• Phone support is a must
• Familiarity with Shopify and Gorgios or similar support ticketing systems is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to handle high-volume customer interactions
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• Empathetic and patient customer approach
• Fluency in English and a minimum accent are required

Responsibilities

• Support customers via phone, email, chat, SMS, and social media
• Resolve product or service problems
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and empathy in all customer interactions
• Document customer interactions, transactions, and feedback in the customer service database
• Collaborate with the Customer Service Manager and team members to identify trends and suggest improvements
• Stay informed about new products, services, and policies
• Manage customer expectations and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction
• Meet personal/team qualitative and quantitative targets
