Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls and e-mails for your customer assignments regarding new quote opportunities, delivery, order changes, expedites, complaints and general customer concerns
  • Contact customers via phone or e-mail regarding production issues, delivery issues or suggestions for positive change
  • Work with sales, customer, and engineering to acquire necessary manufacturing documentation to be able to provide accurate proposals
  • Review new customer POs for accurate sales margin, pricing, and date before entry. Save and acknowledge to customer once complete
  • Forward vendor price increases to customer as received from the purchasing team. Recalculate new assembly price if needed
  • Coordinate request for quotation process from start to finish, entering all information into our quote tool, creation of job folder and uploading all documentation files, announcing of the new quote or re-quote opportunity to the team
  • Collaborate with different departments to support company initiatives and projects: Director of Sales on final draft of proposal to determine all directives of the customer have been included in the proposal, and the best method for delivery of quotation
  • Quality Management team to stay updated on company policy, including any changes, and the impact they may have on the customer
  • Production and scheduling team to stay current on the status of all orders for your customer base
  • Communicate any changes/delays or manufacturing issues to the customer
  • Work with engineering to update print revisions, scan/file engineering change notices (ECN’s) and update assembly documentation
  • Track status of all ECN’s, log and process new ECN’S, maintain archive files of ECN’s, item master change requests (IMCR), and temporary authorization’s (TA’s)
  • Follow the item master’s procedure and ensure it is completed from start to finish
  • Distribute pick lists to stockroom – REMOVE this line – this is included in the job packets
  • Create work order job packets for ETI & ACH with necessary documentation. Distribute to production scheduler with any relative ECN copies
  • Update any job packets already distributed to scheduling or stock room that require ECN changes to the current build
  • New Production Introduction (NPI) requests as needed from start to finish including, documentation, part number creation, entry into ERP system, assuring costing is completed, and job packet creation
  • Any other tasks that may be assigned by management
