Summary

Nielsen is seeking a strategic and detail-oriented individual to join their team as a Security Analyst. The role involves interfacing with the business to identify and reduce risk through the support of the fusion operations center, working in both cyber and physical security realms. The successful candidate should have excellent attention to detail, strong strategic planning skills, communication and interpersonal skills, top-notch technical skills, and at least 3-5 years' experience in cybersecurity.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in computer science, security, law enforcement, criminal science, or a related field
• Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in cybersecurity
• Excellent technical skills for building security architecture aligned with the business's requirements
• Great communication skills and the ability to present technical jargon in an understandable way
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills
• A highly logical, honest, and objective nature
• Good teamwork and time management skills

Responsibilities

• Identifying possible security threats and determining the best security measures
• Ensure technical implementation and business processes are aligned
• Designing, implementing, and maintaining security protocols, policies, plans, and systems to cover all possible security threats
• Provide complex technical advice, recommendations and consultancy on networks, infrastructure, products and services supplied
• Running risk assessment and security tests and designing countermeasures to eliminate as many potential risks as possible
• Suggesting improvements to existing security systems
• Remaining up to date with the latest security systems, tools, trends, and technology
• Training staff to recognize and defend against security breaches and risks
• Plan, implement, manage, monitor, and upgrade cybersecurity measures to protect enterprise data and infrastructure
• Provide or assist with implementation documentation
• Ongoing project management
