Summary
Join Dandy, a revolutionary company transforming the dental industry with technology, and become a Data Analyst on our Product team. You will be responsible for key aspects of Dandy’s business, focusing on customer experience, recurring revenue growth, customer retention, and product experience enhancement. Leverage data analysis to provide recommendations and drive customer ordering behavior. This highly cross-functional role requires autonomy and collaboration to make Dandy a more compelling service. You will develop insights, define data language, facilitate decision-making, design A/B experiments, solve problems, and mentor other analysts. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience working in revenue, retention, and customer life cycle analytics, ideally in a B2B setting
- BA/BS in a quantitative field such as mathematics, statistics, engineering with customer empathy or a BA/BS in behavioral science (economics, psychology, etc) with statistics skills
- Excellent SQL & Python skills
- Strong communication skills and experience communicating results in a way that drives change. You have the ability to use data to inform, align, and lead
- Strong senses of autonomy and ownership
- Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and statistical skills
Responsibilities
- Develop and share insights that drive the revenue and product teams to better serve, acquire, and retain customers
- Define the data language (i.e. KPIs, dashboards, measurement, etc) to ensure your team grasps the underlying truth that drives progress and success
- Facilitate rapid decision making through ad hoc work or by democratizing data/self service (effective BI or user-friendly explores in Looker in partnership with our data engineers)
- Design and execute effective A/B experiments that cater our product offering to our customer’s needs and boost recurring revenue
- Utilize your data super powers to reduce ambiguity and solve problems
- Be a strategic thought partner with cross-functional stakeholders
- Mentor other analysts and help them grow
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with revenue data at a company like Shopify, Amazon, Uber, Lyft, Instacart, or the like
- Strong customer empathy, particularly for dentists
- Have experience turning vague business problems into statistical rigorous analyses & solutions (e.g. causal inference, predictive modeling)
- Interest in working and learning in an earlier stage company where we’re still working out some of the basics
- Experience in Looker, Hex, and DBT
