Summary
Join Forma.ai's growing Customer Operations team in Costa Rica as a detail-oriented Data Analyst. You will configure commission data structures, create insightful reports, and work with data in various formats using Excel and SQL. Key responsibilities include assisting with ongoing operations for existing customers, supporting onboarding activities for new customers, designing projects involving analysis and financial modeling, building automated workflows, and maintaining relationships with customer stakeholders. You will also collaborate with product and engineering teams to provide customer feedback. Forma.ai offers a high-growth environment and the opportunity to be a founding team member in Costa Rica. The role requires strong analytical and interpersonal skills, proficiency in Excel and SQL, and 5+ years of experience in a quantitative-focused analytical role. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in quantitative-focused, analytical role such as, data management, database development, data analysis, data science, business analytics
- Proficiency in Excel, with a working knowledge of SQL; experience with databases is a plus
- Advanced English proficiency required as this is a client facing role
- Solid analytical skills and ability to present reports effectively
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
- Strong organizational and project management abilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment
Responsibilities
- Assist the ongoing operations for a portfolio of existing customers and implement new features (i.e., rule building, process execution, reporting and dashboarding, and product support)
- Support onboarding activities for new customers, including compensation plan rule building, data analysis, quality control, and interaction with key customer stakeholders
- Design projects including analysis, financial modelling, project planning, customer workshops, and presentation/recommendation of findings
- Scope, build and test automated workflows, processes and reporting capabilities to support automation of incentive compensation processes and improve business visibility
- Build and maintain working relationships directly with customer stakeholders, ensuring our clients realize Forma.ai's full value
- Work with Forma.aiβs Product and Engineering teams to articulate customer feedback that informs the priority of new product features and to implement new platform features to support continuous improvement and automation
Preferred Qualifications
- Preference for Bachelor's degree in systems engineering, Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field with a quantitative focus
- Experience with SPM (Sales Performance Management) tools such as SAP Commissions, Callidus, Xactly, Varicent, or CaptivateIQ is a plus
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau is a plus
