Summary
Join Gridware, a company developing innovative hardware to safeguard communities from electricity distribution disasters. As a Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in monitoring real-time data from our expanding fleet of power grid monitoring devices. You will identify and analyze trends, detect anomalies, and escalate critical events to prevent potential disasters. This is a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and reliability of power distribution networks worldwide. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a STEM degree and data analytics skills to join our early operational team. Your work will directly contribute to preventing catastrophic events and safeguarding communities.
Requirements
- STEM degree (science, technology, engineering, or mathematics)
- Proficiency in English - must be able to efficiently communicate event information
- Basic understanding of data analytics and anomaly detection
- A passion for working in a fast-paced environment
- Highly motivated, proactive, able to perform duties without supervision
- Being willing to work night shifts and weekends
- Ability to work 40 hours per week
Responsibilities
- Monitor real-time data streams from field sensors and respond to alerts
- Consistently follow SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) to investigate and localize real-time faults with minimal error
- Quickly and efficiently work with Supervisors on ad-hoc data requests, and follow up during ongoing investigations
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic proficiency with Python programming
- Research experience (STEM preferred)
- Experience working with metadata or data annotation
- Experience with real-time work and/or making reports
