Requirements
- Coding skills: SQL (advanced) & Python
- Degree level qualification in data science, mathematics, statistics or other numerical discipline
- Successful track record in delivering data-driven solutions with limited senior support
- Strong communication skills - has the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences to different levels within an organisation, and is able to write clear documentation on technical projects, as well as translate workflows into logical sequences
- 2-5 years of experience in analytical roles
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into actionable analysis plans
- Contribute to the enhancement of established ETL processes in our AWS stack to integrate additional data sources
- Create detailed and insightful reports that summarise findings and recommendations
- Use storytelling techniques to communicate complex data insights effectively
- Support data governance by identifying and working with the wider team to address data quality issues, such as missing values, outliers, and inconsistencies
- Promote data literacy across the organisation by supporting roadshows on data activities
Preferred Qualifications
- PySpark
- Visualisation & Reporting experience through packages other than Excel, e.g. Power BI, Tableau
