Summary

Join MeridianLink as a Data Analytics Consultant and become a pivotal member of the Analytics Team, delivering critical insights for financial institution clients. You will be part of the data engineering team, responsible for reviewing, importing, transforming, and quality-controlling client data into data warehouses. You will collaborate with clients and the data team, design and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines, and ensure data quality and security. Your contributions will directly impact the future of analytics for financial institutions. This position requires a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of relevant experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in data engineering or similar roles
  • Experience building, maintaining, and scaling ETL/ELT processes and infrastructure
  • Advanced level skills with MS SQL
  • Advanced proficiency in Python for data processing
  • Hands-on experience with data pipeline tools (SSIS, Airflow, DBT) and version control systems (e.g., Git)
  • Knowledge of data modeling, schema design, and performance optimization
  • Must be able to multitask and be very detail oriented. Teamwork attitude, flexibility, and the ability to manage different phases of a project
  • Strong communication and presentation skills

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients to receive, validate, and integrate delivered data files and data from other sources, ensuring accurate and timely loading across all active Data Analytics data warehouse environments
  • Work with the Data Team Manager to monitor and maintain different data workflows
  • Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient ETL/ELT pipelines
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and address performance and reliability issues
  • Collaborate with data analysts and data scientists to understand requirements and support their data needs
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of data architecture, workflows, and transformation logic
  • Implement and promote data best practices, security, and governance standards

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience working at a financial institution
  • Knowledge and experience working with business intelligence tools
  • Experience integrating AI into data pipelines to detect data anomalies
