Requirements

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or Computer Science
  • Professional Experience: 5+ years in BI roles, with a proven track record of advancing data analytics practices and leading business analysis projects in a dynamic business environment
  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in SQL, Excel, and BI tools such as Looker or Tableau. Deep knowledge of RDBMS systems and a strong understanding of data architecture. Experience with Python or Google Apps Script is highly valued
  • Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical capabilities with a focus on analytical rigor and the synthesis of complex data into actionable business insights
  • Communication Skills: Outstanding communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with C-level executives and key stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Business Partnering: Take a leadership role in challenging and influencing key stakeholders by providing deep insights and strategic advice based on comprehensive data analysis
  • Advanced Analytics and Reporting Leadership: Oversee the development and maintenance of sophisticated analytic tools and dashboards that track and influence business performance at the executive level
  • Senior-Level Project Management: Manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders, setting and communicating strategic priorities, and clearly articulating trade-offs to executive leadership. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior BI team members
  • Data Governance and Stewardship: Act as the authority on ensuring the availability and accuracy of data across the company. Lead initiatives to standardize data definitions, metrics, and measures in accordance with Finance and RevOps leadership
  • Expert Documentation and Process Design: Produce comprehensive documentation and detailed process maps that serve as a benchmark for quality and clarity across the company. Lead efforts to improve BI processes and workflows, ensuring high standards of transparency and understandability
