Summary

Join Experian Marketing Services as a Data Management Analyst II and contribute to the success of the Targeting Data group. You will be responsible for managing data assets, ensuring their receipt, performing quality checks, and maintaining compliance with Experian's security and policies. This role involves working with external clients, internal teams, and data source providers to ensure the integrity and availability of data for various Experian products. You will utilize your expertise in data management, analysis, and tools like Alteryx, Oracle, and Microsoft Access to perform tasks such as data conversion, validation, and troubleshooting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years experience with data management
  • Marketing Services industry experience
  • Experience using JIRA, Microsoft Access and Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets) is required
  • Knowledge of Oracle, Alteryx, Snowflake, SQL and ETL

Responsibilities

  • You will manage the data purchased by Experian, ensuring its receipt, performance per contract, and adherence to Experian security and compliance policies
  • Examine quality reports regarding the integration of acquired data into Experian's ConsumerView compilation database, ensuring quality and quantitative measures are met, and researching when they are not
  • Report on the extracting of data from ConsumerView that is used to create multiple Experian products
  • Ensure data is loaded to the fulfillment systems and tracts its receipt by other Experian markets
  • Analyze acquired data to ensure compliance to technical specifications, legal requirements and company standards as defined in the contract
  • Schedule and monitor automated data conversion and electronic data transmissions
  • Move data among multiple platforms when needed for research
  • Validate quality of data loaded to multiple Targeting fulfillment systems
  • Ensure that source data is received according to contracted schedule, and reviews exceptions to automated quality control processed and data is loaded to ConsumerView
  • Support the import and export of data files from supported platforms
  • Work with team to troubleshoots data problems and perform Data Quality checks
  • Work with data suppliers and internal partners in multiple teams to coordinate problem resolution for data errors
  • Use Alteryx, Oracle and Microsoft Access to evaluate data
  • Analyze data processing reports
  • Work with department staff to ensure data retention
  • Ensure documentation exists for sources and procedures they are responsible for
  • Help research data problems and implementation of fix and ongoing prevention controls

Preferred Qualifications
