Data Manager

Summary

Join a thriving 50-person SME as a Data Engineer in a fully remote position. This role involves co-defining, implementing, and maintaining a new data architecture (ESB + MDM or Data Lake). You will validate the choice of an ESB (MuleSoft or open source), implement the chosen ESB and data flows, and establish a centralized repository. The ideal candidate possesses 7+ years of data experience, expertise in ESB and API implementation, SQL, Python, and Java, and a passion for open-source technologies. The position offers full remote work with occasional on-site visits and a competitive salary of €70k.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience in the data world, with perfect knowledge of the lifecycle and main management tools
• Experience implementing an ESB and APIs
• Developed ad-hoc SQL queries
• Good knowledge of Python and Java languages
• Passion for Open Source technologies
• Strong interest in data architecture

Responsibilities

• Co-define, implement, and maintain the new Data architecture (ESB + MDM or Datalake)
• Within 2 months, validate the choice of an ESB (MuleSoft or other open source)
• Between 2 and 8 months, implement the chosen ESB and progressively the data flows (about a hundred)
• Identify and implement a centralized repository (MDM or DataLake)
• Participate in projects to evolve the data ecosystem (adding or changing software, functional evolutions, AI integration...)
