Data Modeler

Summary

Join our team as a Data Modeler and contribute to the delivery of a robust, scalable data architecture aligned with organizational business goals. You will develop and maintain the client's enterprise-wide data view, translating business requirements into logical data models documented in ERDs. Collaboration with business analysts and the technical team is crucial for successful implementation. Your responsibilities include designing data structures, participating in strategic planning, providing modeling services, and consulting with project sponsors. You will also develop and maintain data models, architecture, and standards. This role requires strong business analysis and problem-solving skills.

Requirements

• Industry vertical experience is essential
• Strong Business Analysis and problem solving skills
• Has experience with at least one RDBMS

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the client’s enterprise wide view of the data. This individual will analyze information requirements specified by the user community and design the required data structures to support those requirements
• Participate with business partners in strategic planning regarding data needs
• Provide logical/physical modeling and design services
• Consult with project sponsors regarding information flow and content, including facilitation of information gathering sessions
• Develop and maintain data models, data architecture, data management standards and conventions, data dictionaries, data element naming standards, and data dictionary metadata standards
• Collaborate with team members regarding industry standard data management practices
• Ability to translate functional requirements into technical design specifications
• Ability to develop technical design documents and test case documents

Preferred Qualifications

• Project Solution experience is desired
• Has had some exposure to Project Management
• Has worked with Modeling Packages
• Familiarity with Enterprise Architecture Structures (Zachman/TOGAF)
