Requirements
- Be proficient in spreadsheet software and possess strong data manipulation skills
- Have experience with regex parsing and understanding of XPaths
- Possess scripting experience (e.g., Python/Javascript)
- Be able to run command line jobs and use tools like Postman for API requests and authentication
Responsibilities
- Manage data import and ingest using Python, Node/Javascript, or other scripting
- Handle data downloads, including manual downloads and scheduled API calls
- Perform data mappings, such as converting medication formats (AHFS to RxNorm and NDC)
- Conduct data scrubbing, identifying and addressing missing data and performing sanity checks
- Manage data corrections in spreadsheets, potentially using tools like Retool.com
- Scrape data from online sources using tools like browse.ai or Octoparse
- Augment data using APIs to enrich sparse insurance data
- Discuss how compliance and security overlaps with data analytics
