Summary
Join BLEND360 as a MarTech Data Product Owner to support a Fortune 100 financial services client's digital transformation. This remote role, ideally based in the Chicago area, involves developing and maintaining the vision and roadmap for marketing technology products. You will collaborate with stakeholders, define product features, establish KPIs and OKRs, and ensure alignment with compliance standards. The position requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, along with experience in product management and Agile environments. The contract lasts until the end of 2025 with a possible extension. BLEND360 offers a competitive benefits package.
Requirements
- Bachelorโs degree in business or related field
- 4+ years of experience in Product, Business, Technical, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in Project Management
- In lieu of a degree, 6+ years of experience in Product, Business, Technical, or related field
- Experience working within an Agile Scrum environment
Responsibilities
- Interact and collaborate with stakeholders on key product considerations and align with product vision, features, and roadmaps
- Leverage customer insights, feedback, financials, compliance, and risk data to define product features and roadmaps in partnership with other SMEs
- Establish KPIs and OKRs for the product team and ensure alignment with senior leadership
- Create and maintain key product documentation (e.g., customer journey map, technical specs, process maps, etc.)
- Identify and define key functional and non-functional requirements (e.g., security, availability, performance, etc.) to achieve necessary product metrics
- Own the definition of Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and features/user stories for delivery of product roadmap
- Build product backlog and prioritize items to achieve OKRs while continuously keeping up to date
- Hold meetings with product team to continuously update product backlog
- Ensure that product features and processes align with applicable compliance and risk management standards
- Ensure that products adhere to the highest quality standards, including releasing security patches not linked to customers
- Create and validate user story acceptance criteria
- Define and ensure appropriate testing frameworks for product features (e.g., market testing, functional performance, etc.)
- Work with Data stewards in their respective LOBs to ensure required data quality controls are identified and implemented
- Inspect and evaluate product progress through each iteration
- Partner with business technology to create technical features required to continuously optimize system components and underline infrastructure maintenance
- Build a culture of accountability and ownership by empowering the product team to make decisions. Manage dependencies with cross-functional teams while identifying, building, and managing strategic partnership across different product teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Marketing Technology Platforms from Product, Business, Technical, or related
- Prior financial services experience
- Experience with RDBMS or Data Engineering
- Background in Customer Engagement, Campaign Management, Marketing Attribution, and Campaign Reporting
- Proven experience in conceptualizing, defining, building, and releasing data products
- Highly analytical and deep focus on using data to drive decisions
- Strong ability to communicate ideas both verbally and in writing
