Data Science Lead

Requirements

• 8+ years in data science with a strong background in machine learning, statistical analysis, and data modeling
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field; a Master’s or Ph.D. is preferred
• Proficient in programming languages such as Python or R, with experience in data manipulation libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn)
• Experience with SQL and familiarity with data warehousing solutions (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake)
• Proficient with collaborative cloud notebooks for data science
• Familiar with frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Matplotlib)

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete data science project lifecycle: from defining problems and collecting data to deploying models and monitoring their performance
• Employ sophisticated statistical analysis methods, including Monte Carlo simulations and Sensitivity Analysis, to improve the accuracy and robustness of our digital twin model
• Partner closely with product, engineering, and business teams to translate business requirements into actionable data science solutions, ensuring insights are accessible and impactful
• Shape the company’s overall data strategy and contribute to data-driven product innovation and thought leadership
• Develop metrics to assess model performance and effectiveness, and continuously monitor and refine models post-deployment
• Present findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, adapting communication styles to suit different audiences
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data science, encouraging experimentation with new tools and techniques among the team
• Guide and mentor fellow data scientists, promoting a culture of innovation and ongoing learning

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with digital twin models
• Familiarity with the ad tech industry
• Expertise in large-scale distributed data processing frameworks such as Spark
