Data Visualization Analyst

Summary

Join World Business Lenders (WBL) as a Business Intelligence and Data Visualization Analyst and contribute to data-driven decisions across key departments. This remote contract/consultant position requires creating compelling visualizations using Power BI and collaborating with stakeholders. You will ensure data integrity, streamline processes, and provide training on interpreting reports. The role demands proficiency in SQL and Power BI, along with strong communication skills. This is a remote position with a flexible schedule and 20 days of PTO after 6 months.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of experience in data analytics, with a focus on business intelligence and data visualization
• Proficiency in SQL and Power BI is required
• Demonstrated ability to create polished and user-friendly dashboards and reports
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, with an ability to present complex ideas clearly
• Experience collaborating across multiple teams and managing diverse priorities

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and visual reports using tools like Power BI, ensuring they are intuitive and impactful
• Collaborate with stakeholders from Marketing, Sales, and other departments to translate business needs into actionable data insights
• Ensure data integrity through thorough validation and quality checks, working closely with Data Engineers and Analysts
• Streamline data collection and visualization processes to enhance efficiency and reporting accuracy
• Provide training and guidance on interpreting dashboards and reports to non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of data storytelling and best practices for effective communication
• Familiarity with financial or credit risk data is a plus
• Experience in automating reporting processes
