Summary

Join AlphaSense's Revenue Operations team as a Deal Desk Manager and play a key role in supporting sales, legal, and finance teams in managing complex commercial deals. You will partner with various teams to ensure deals align with internal policies and business objectives, enforce pricing policies and compliance, and optimize deal desk processes. This role requires strong understanding of Salesforce CPQ, B2B contracts, and deal structures. The ideal candidate will have excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills, and experience in a SaaS or technology environment at a publicly traded company. Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in deal desk or contract management in a SaaS or technology environment at a publicly traded company
  • Strong understanding of B2B commercial contracts and deal structures
  • Experience working with CRM (Salesforce), CPQ tools, and contract management systems (e.g., Ironclad, DocuSign CLM)
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to pushback in challenging situations

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Sales, Legal, and Finance, and Strategic Initiatives to support complex deal structures and pricing strategies
  • Ensure deals align with internal policies and business objectives
  • Work closely with the technical teams that support Salesforce CPQ and contracting; providing feedback on systems improvements that are needed to support complex deals
  • Serve as a liaison between Sales, Legal, Finance, and Product for deal and contract-related matters
  • Communicate status and key risks of complex deals to senior leadership
  • Enforce pricing policies, discount approval thresholds, and contract standards
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulatory requirements
  • Develop and maintain deal desk processes and playbooks to streamline approvals and reduce sales cycle times
  • Maintain team SLAs for turnaround changes
  • Identify inefficiencies and implement best practices in deal and contract workflows
  • Work closely with technical teams that support CPQ and contracting to help implement systems changes that align with best practice
