Responsibilities

  • Client Engagement: Engages with potential clients to understand their technical and business requirements, ensuring comprehensive information collection for solution development
  • Solution Delivery: Ensures a robust delivery model, appropriate team structure that meets client requirements
  • Relationship Management: Acts as a liaison between the client and the company, ensuring clear communication, mutual understanding, and timely execution of tasks
  • Upselling and Growth: Identifies opportunities for additional services that could benefit the client, contributing to account growth and increased client success
  • Steering Committees: Initiates and participates in account-level steering committee meetings with clients on strategic themes, aligning on goals and objectives
  • Strategic Reporting: Prepares and delivers progress reports to clients and upper management, providing insights into project status and account performance
  • Leadership and Development: Nurtures a growth-oriented, positive, and encouraging environment. Provides continuous feedback, supports professional development, and conducts regular performance evaluations
  • Performance Evaluation: Conducts comprehensive performance assessments, integrating feedback from Engineering Managers, Technical Project Managers, and Tech Leads. Provides final calibration results and development plans for team members
  • Compensation Management: Proposes and approves salary adjustments within the established internal salary ranges. Collaborates with Heads of Technology (HoT) and Human Resources (HR) for exceptions
  • Talent Acquisition and Onboarding: Collaborates with the Recruitment Team and HoT to map required skills, identify, and onboard the right talent. Participates in the hiring process, focusing on operational fit, being also the final approver in hiring
  • Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs): Develops and monitors PIPs with HR support to address performance gaps
  • Team Integration: Facilitates the seamless integration of new hires into projects with the support of Project Managers (PMs) and HR Consultants
  • Project Oversight: Acts as the escalation point for Engineering Managers and Technical Project Managers. Monitors and oversees the P&L for projects, ensuring financial health and profitability
  • Strategic Intervention: Intervenes tactically and strategically in daily operations as necessary to maintain project momentum and address challenges. Delivery Managers delegate operational tasks
  • Resource Allocation: Ensures optimal allocation and utilization of resources, balancing project demands and team capabilities
  • Continuous Improvement: Drives process improvements and efficiency in project execution, adopting best practices and innovative solutions
  • Reporting and Metrics: Provides regular updates and detailed progress reports to clients and upper management, ensuring transparency and alignment with project goals
  • Budget Management: Develops labor cost forecasts and budgets, monitors expenditure, and ensures financial targets are met
  • Negotiation: Leads rate negotiations within accounts to align with company objectives and market conditions
  • Pre-Sales Support: Collaborates with the sales team and Head of Technology, to develop compelling offers and solutions for new client requests, contributing to the acquisition of new business. Focuses on handling client requirements and project feasibility
