Summary
Join Onit as a Demand Generation Specialist and drive pipeline growth through strategic, data-driven marketing campaigns. You will execute and optimize multi-channel campaigns, collaborating with various teams to align messaging and targeting. This hands-on role requires a strong analytical mindset, a bias for action, and experience with marketing automation and paid media. You will monitor campaign performance, report on KPIs, and continuously improve processes. The ideal candidate is a quick learner, comfortable with data analysis, and adept at testing and optimization. Success in this role will directly impact revenue generation.
Requirements
- 3 years of experience in demand generation or performance marketing, ideally in a B2B SaaS environment
- Data is your compass; you’re comfortable digging into numbers, drawing insights, and making decisions based on results
- Quick learner with the ability to grasp ICP nuances and shift tactics based on what’s working
- A bias towards action – you test, learn, and iterate with speed
- Strong understanding of the B2B funnel and how to drive demand at each stage
- Hands-on experience with marketing automation (HubSpot preferred) and CRM tools (Salesforce preferred)
- Experience running paid campaigns (LinkedIn, Google Ads, etc.) and optimizing for performance
- Experience building, publishing, and improving nurture streams
- Analytical mindset—you love digging into data, testing hypotheses, and proving ROI
- Clear communicator with strong project management skills
- Strong communicator who proactively keeps [cross-functional] teams informed, aligned, and moving forward
- Proactive, self-starter who’s comfortable in a fast-moving, cross-functional team
Responsibilities
- Execute and optimize demand generation programs across channels such as email, paid media, webinars, content syndication, SEO, and more
- Support campaign development from strategy through execution—including copywriting, asset coordination, landing page creation, and lead routing
- Partner closely with Sales, Product Marketing, and Content teams to align campaign messaging and targeting
- Evaluate opportunities quickly: is this the right message, channel, and spend for our ICP? If not, pivot fast
- Manage and optimize performance across platforms like LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads, and programmatic/display vendors
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance, report on KPIs (MQLs, CPL, pipeline influenced), and recommend improvements
- Own marketing automation workflows and lead nurturing tracks in tools like HubSpot, Marketo, or Pardot
- Collaborate with RevOps to ensure accurate attribution, lead scoring, and funnel reporting
- Create and constantly test nurture streams to drive better conversions and more leads into the funnel
- Document learnings, share insights, and overcommunicate to keep the team in lockstep
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ABM platforms (6sense, Demandbase, etc.)
- Familiarity with intent data and, predictive scoring, and account prioritization
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS for landing page tweaks
- Experience with webinars, virtual events, or field marketing programs
