Demand Planner

Summary

Join our client, a global gourmet specialty foods and gifts company, as a Demand Planner. Your role will be to estimate future consumer demand for products and services, develop financial plans, manage inventory, and collaborate with internal stakeholders. A bachelor's degree in supply chain management or a related field and at least three years of experience as a Demand Planner are required.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, or a related field
• A minimum of three years experience as a Demand Planner in a related field
• Understanding of Inventory management practices and procedures
• Good understanding of commercial and manufacturing operations
• Strong Office 365 skills including expert knowledge of Excel
• Working knowledge of ERP and statistical forecasting tools
• Solid understanding of inventory management practices and procedures
• Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Fluent in English (bilingual or native level). Spanish proficiency is a plus

Responsibilities

• Develop high-level merchandise financial plans
• Oversee the development of monthly sales, margin, and inventory forecasts
• Establish and maintain OTB to provide visibility to on-order needs and cash flow
• Partner with internal stakeholders to develop an annual assortment planning framework
• Create a collaborative, innovative, and results-oriented environment with peers
• Partner with Channels to develop seasonal margin targets
• Provide style/SKU planning guidance
• Partner with B2B Channel Leader to fulfill all corporate needs on time
• Manage Inventory to support Sales, Margin, and Turn Goals staying within OTB
• Mine data to develop reports In Season to analyze current trends in the business
• Create and Maintain Forecasting Models, Inventory Models, and Reports daily and ensure their accuracy
