Join Ramp as a Demo Architect and own the vision, strategy, and execution of our demo and sandbox platforms. This product-minded role requires cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Product Marketing, Engineering, and Enablement to ensure demos are technically sound, up-to-date, and strategically designed. As the single-threaded owner, you will define and drive the roadmap, manage internal tooling, and deliver seamless demo experiences. You will work hand-in-hand with engineers, translate technical features into clear narratives, and act as the connective tissue between feature launches and go-to-market readiness. This individual contributor role offers high visibility, impact, and growth potential. The role focuses on usability, stability, scalability, and narrative depth of the demo and sandbox environments.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in demo engineering, product management, solutions consulting, technical project management, product operations, technical product marketing, or a similar cross-functional GTM role
- Strong project management skills with a proven ability to drive complex initiatives from ambiguity to clarity, aligning cross-functional stakeholders without formal authority
- Product mindset with comfort in roadmap planning, sprint cycles, prioritization trade-offs, and delivering customer impact
- Familiarity with APIs, Retool, or similar internal platforms; able to scope technical work and partner effectively with engineers
- Strong user empathy and storytelling instincts—you think not just about how the demo works, but what it communicates and how it feels
- Experience translating technical features into clear demo narratives, fixture datasets, and scalable selling assets
- Clear, concise communicator with strong documentation practices and a track record of stakeholder alignment
- Exposure to customer-facing roles or enterprise sales cycles, with a deep appreciation for the challenges and expectations of Ramp’s prospects and customers
- Comfortable operating in a high-growth, fast-paced startup environment with shifting priorities and minimal structure
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end strategy, roadmap, and execution of Ramp’s demo and sandbox environments , with a focus on usability, stability, scalability, and narrative depth
- Act as the single-threaded owner of the demo experience , triaging urgent field support requests, managing roadmap priorities, coordinating cross-functional stakeholders, and ensuring timely delivery of updates
- Collaborate with Engineering to manage and enhance internal tooling (e.g., Retool apps, APIs) and scope technical improvements from ideation through QA
- Partner with Product Marketing and Enablement to develop compelling storylines and representative fixture data , ensuring that new feature rollouts are demo-ready and reflect real-world customer workflows
- Build scalable frameworks and infrastructure that empower Solutions Consultants and AEs to deliver high-quality demos with minimal friction
- Drive alignment across key stakeholders in Sales, Solutions, Product, Engineering, and Marketing , serving as the go-to owner for demo strategy and execution
- Establish feedback loops with internal users and enterprise stakeholders to continuously refine the demo experience and ensure it evolves alongside product capabilities and customer needs
- Contribute to the long-term scalability of the demo program through process development, documentation, training, and hygiene standards
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing demo engineering teams and defining product roadmaps in a SaaS company
- Background in financial technology, accounting systems, or enterprise software
- Understanding of ERPs like Netsuite, Sage Intacct, Quickbooks and others
