Summary

Join Megaport as a Deployment Project Coordinator and play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of IT infrastructure projects that enable the expansion of our global network. Coordinate project activities, manage vendor relationships, and ensure timely achievement of project milestones. You will work with internal resources and third parties, update project information systems, attend daily project meetings, provide weekly status reports, and coordinate with vendors and customers. Identify and escalate risks, create hardware purchases, and track shipments. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Have a minimum of 3-5 years experience coordinating multiple projects
  • Obtains or is working towards a Scrum Master or PMP certification
  • Ability to prioritise and delegate tasks to team members
  • Have experience working with third parties, vendors and customers
  • Have the ability to take initiative and work effectively in a rapidly changing environment

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of multiple projects concurrently
  • Update project information systems – Confluence, Jira, Intranet and key systems
  • Resource availability and allocated tasks
  • Attend daily project meetings with our global team
  • Provide weekly status reports
  • Project minutes
  • Coordinating with our vendors and customers to follow up on tasks
  • Identify and escalate risks as needed
  • Create hardware purchases and track shipments when necessary

Preferred Qualifications

  • JIRA and Confluence experience (ideal)
  • Experience in an ICT/IT Project Management environment is highly desirable, Preferably from a networking or telecommunication background
