Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
  • Experience supporting Windows Desktop Operating Systems (Windows 10, Windows 11)
  • Proficient in supporting desktop, laptop and mobile hardware IT support
  • Windows Server Support Basics and basic understanding of Active Directory
  • Networking knowledge, including DNS and DHCP
  • Excellent attention to detail, especially with communication (written and verbal) and meeting deadlines
  • Proficient with Office software suite

Responsibilities

  • Provide support and troubleshooting services to a fleet of desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers and other related peripherals
  • Answer and resolve support cases in a timely manner with emphasis on strong customer service
  • Install and configure software and applications for workstation distribution
  • Assist in the provisioning of user accounts, email, group membership, drive mappings and peripherals
  • Work closely with systems, networking and security team and management to identify issues, research solutions, and escalate issues to the appropriate resource
  • Guide users in conforming to established systems security practices
  • Assist in the documentation, periodic review, and maintenance of departmental Standard Operating Procedures
  • Vet and test new technology for business operations and/or initiatives
  • Monitor and report security issues to management and various teams per the Incident Response procedure
  • Contribute to remediation planning, testing and execution as directed
  • Plan and participate in Disaster Recovery planning, testing and actual recovery efforts in the event of a declared disaster
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5 years’ experience in field or career
  • Experience in a fast-paced, environment
  • Ability to prioritize tasks that change frequently and manage unexpected demands
  • Dependable, follows instructions and takes initiative to solve problems
