Developer Advocate

Summary

Join Vonage as a Video Developer Advocate and lead the creation of engaging video content for the VonageDev YouTube channel. You will drive developer engagement by showcasing Vonage's cloud communication solutions, focusing on Network APIs. This role blends technical expertise with storytelling to build a strong YouTube presence. You will develop and produce video content, contribute to content strategy, engage with the developer community, integrate feedback, and collaborate with internal and external teams. The position is remote and based in the USA.

Requirements

• Experience in creating engaging video content for developer audiences
• Ability to use video production tools (such as Premiere Pro)
• Familiarity with YouTube content creation
• Familiarity with cloud communication platforms (CPaaS)
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Develop and produce engaging video content for the VonageDev YouTube channel, highlighting the use cases and benefits of Vonage's Network APIs and other related topics
• Contribute to the overall video content strategy with stakeholders from Developer Relations and Product teams to ensure alignment and effectiveness in showcasing Network APIs
• Collaborate with the developer community team to amplify event impacts, sponsorships, and partnerships through compelling video storytelling, emphasizing the value of Network APIs in developer projects
• Continuously integrate developer feedback into video content plans to enhance relevance and engagement around Network APIs
• Work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure consistent messaging and high-quality video content is produced

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as a Developer Advocate
• Familiarity with cloud communication platforms (CPaaS), Network APIs, and Vonage APIs
• Understanding of social media platforms and content distribution strategies
