Developer Advocate

Join Yubico's Developer Program team as a Developer Advocate and become a key player in helping software engineers and security professionals integrate strong authentication into their applications. You will engage with the developer community, create technical content, provide guidance, and drive adoption of Yubico's authentication solutions. This role involves acting as a trusted advisor, designing and delivering proof-of-concept integrations, developing technical content, actively engaging with the developer community, advocating for Yubico's APIs and services, leading workshops, collaborating with product teams, and monitoring industry trends. Requirements

• 2+ years experience presenting to technical audiences
• 5+ years coding experience in programming languages, such as JavaScript, Java, C#, Python, Go
• Passionate about security technology and love teaching others how to use it
• Hands-on experience with modern authentication protocols (FIDO2, WebAuthn) and are excited to explore emerging trends like passkeys
• Natural communicator who can translate complex technical concepts into accessible, engaging content
• You thrive in a collaborative environment and are driven by a mission to build trust and security for all
• Travel may be required depending on where developer focused events are held
• Familiarity with API integration and cloud environments

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor, helping developers understand and integrate passkeys and Yubico’s authentication services into their workflows
• Design and deliver proof of concept (PoC) integrations showcasing Yubico’s passkey solutions
• Develop technical content (blogs, tutorials, webinars) to educate developers on passkey adoption
• Actively engage with the developer community through forums, conferences, and events
• Advocate for Yubico’s APIs and services, emphasizing secure authentication and user-centric design
• Lead workshops to inspire and educate developers about the future of passwordless authentication
• Collaborate with product teams to refine tools and features based on developer feedback
• Monitor industry trends and share insights to improve Yubico’s offerings
