Developer Relations Project Coordinator

Summary

Join the Sui Foundation as a Project Coordinator to support the growth of the Sui blockchain network. This role focuses on managing and executing developer relations initiatives, primarily coordinating large-scale online and in-person events like hackathons and meetups to expand the developer base. You will be responsible for logistical aspects, data collection, and managing team timelines. The ideal candidate has 2-5 years of project coordination experience in a global tech company, strong productivity software skills, excellent communication, and flexibility to travel. Experience with large-scale competitions, cryptocurrency, and developer-facing roles is a plus.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of relative project coordinator or project manager experience, ideally with a global tech company
• Highly proficient with a wide range of productivity software, and able to quickly learn how to use new ones needed to perform assigned duties
• Highly detailed and results oriented with the ability to fill in the details and independently carry out assigned tasks to completion
• Experience working across multiple time zones with some flexibility in availability
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills - can quickly and independently draft public facing messages
• Flexibility and willingness to travel and connect

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating and execute large scale hackathon, hacker houses, developer competitions, and other forms of activations involving technical audiences
• Able to own and execute the logistical aspects of the above and and ensure on-time delivery of key milestones
• Maintaining and collecting relevant data and statistics across DevRel activations, including working with the relevant team members to produce pre-approval briefs for postmortem reports
• Manage overall DevRel team timelines and milestone delivery statuses, and ensure overall team’s progress on initiatives and tasks according to their priorities

Preferred Qualifications

• Have experience coordinating and organizing large scale online or in-person competitions or contests
• Are familiar with and understand cryptocurrency and blockchain technology
• Have previously been in a developer facing role
