Requirements

• Communicative English at a B2 level or higher
• Extensive experience building scalable applications, ideally with large-scale systems like CRM, CMS, or ERP. Direct SaaS experience is a strong plus
• Advanced proficiency in PHP 8.1+ and modern frameworks like Laravel or Symfony, with deep experience in modular monolith and layered architecture
• Strong focus on framework-agnostic development, prioritizing clean, maintainable code that maximizes business value and minimizes dependencies
• Thorough knowledge of automated testing frameworks (e.g., PHPUnit) and robust testing strategies, ensuring high-quality, reliable, and maintainable code

Responsibilities

• Use software like PHP 8.4, Laravel 11 and PostgreSQL
• Lead and guide one engineering team to plan, build, and deliver high-quality software while optimizing code, managing resources, and ensuring timely delivery
• Oversee hiring, onboarding, and performance reviews, contributing to team and company growth

• Be committed to continually improving our codebase, reducing legacy code, adding tests, and keeping things up-to-date
