Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience) required
  • 8+ years of experience managing hybrid development teams, including offshore resources, with a strong focus on team leadership, collaboration, and optimizing workflows for software development and systems integration required
  • Hands on experience building and deploying solutions in Azure, following DevSecOps principles and practices required
  • Strong working knowledge of infrastructure, security, and data management principles
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of Azure DevOps and a solid understanding of DevSecOps principles to oversee and improve development workflows
  • Strong working knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies

Responsibilities

  • Foster a collaborative, supportive team culture that values open communication, knowledge sharing, accountability, continuous improvement, and professional development
  • Develop and maintain efficient workflows that optimize collaboration between in-house and offshore teams, balancing speed, quality, and resource availability. Proactively address logistical and operational complexities, establish clear performance metrics, conduct regular check-ins, and ensure alignment between offshore and in-house contributors
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement best practices that drive efficiency, quality, and innovation, balancing day-to-day team needs with longer-term strategic initiatives
  • Serve as a point of contact between internal teams and external partners, resolving issues, facilitating communication, and ensuring alignment with project goals and milestones
  • Manage the use and continuous improvement of Azure DevOps tools and workflows to support our DevSecOps processes
  • Manage relationships with offshore development vendors, ensuring alignment with business objectives and adherence to quality standards
  • Provide regular project updates and technical insights to senior leadership and other relevant stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with .NET Core and Azure DevOps integrations a plus
  • Experience with SaaS integrations and custom application development; experience with Salesforce integrations a plus
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills to balance technical requirements with people management needs
  • Strong background in software development or engineering management, with the ability to guide technical discussions and decision-making
  • Ability to anticipate project risks and proactively implement solutions to ensure timely delivery and high-quality outcomes
  • Proven experience implementing remote collaboration best practices and asynchronous workflows
  • Proven ability to lead technical projects and drive cross-functional collaboration
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for translating complex technical concepts into business-friendly language
