Requirements

  • Experience with Technical Professional Services (B2B), ideally in digital banking and financial services
  • Experience delivering technology solutions for Canadian credit unions using digital banking platforms like Forge, VeriPark, eBankIT, Temenos, or Backbase
  • Expertise in the full software development lifecycle, modern testing methods, design patterns, continuous integration, and Agile methodology
  • Experience delivery complex digital apps and products
  • Experience with regular client-facing interactions to gather feedback, determine future resource requirements and propose solutions
  • Effective and diplomatic leadership, communication, and presentation skills
  • Experience with leading cross-functional remote development teams and partnering across complex organizations within North America
  • Bachelor or Master's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or a related field or equivalent professional experience

Responsibilities

  • Manage cross-functional technology delivery teams of 30-50 people in a Canadian, remote-only tech professional services B2B organization
  • Establish trusted partnerships with our clients, be in tune with their needs, and adapt our resource allocation accordingly. Ensure client satisfaction and retention
  • Optimize operations and resourcing: recommend the composition of our delivery team and continuously adapt it to meet evolving client needs, ensuring we meet the targets for chargeability and utilization, and minimizing the revenue loss
  • As department manager, create the right composition for the development team (such as junior/senior and FTE/contractor allocation) and provide training, mentoring, and development to ensure team satisfaction, engagement, and retention
  • Support BD and sales with solution architecture, scope review and estimates, and resource allocation and planning
