Join ICEYE, a global leader in SAR satellite operations, as a DevOps Engineer in Finland or Poland. This permanent, remote/hybrid/office position involves delivering and maintaining on-premise ground-system environments for mission business line customers. Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- A strong dual foundation in both software development and DevOps principles
- At least 5 years of professional experience, with a focus on the deployment, configuration, and operational management of software services, particularly within Kubernetes
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues and apply strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills in both spoken and written English, enabling effective collaboration within an international team and with customer technical representatives
- The ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- A collaborative and team-first attitude
- Experience taking technical responsibility for a high-availability service
Responsibilities
- Be an integral part of a team responsible for delivering and maintaining on-premise ground-system environments for our Mission business line customers
- Work collaboratively to ensure the seamless deployment and operation of both ICEYE and third-party applications in conjunction with customer satellites
- Plan and deploy updates to these on-premise systems
- Collaborate closely with various stakeholders across engineering, product, and program management
