DevOps Engineer II

Requirements

• 2+ years experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible
• 2+ years of experience scripting in Go, Bash, or PowerShell
• 1+ years of experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Solid understanding of source control tools and collaboration workflows using Git
• Effectively partners with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals
• Displays initiative in identifying issues and resolving them with innovative solutions
• Handles multiple priorities efficiently and meets deadlines in a dynamic environment
• Clearly communicates technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize Infrastructure as Code templates using tools like Terraform or Ansible to manage cloud resources effectively
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines to support agile development and deployment cycles, ensuring high-quality deliverables
• Work closely with developers, platforms teams, and infrastructure engineers to streamline deployment processes and improve system reliability
• Participate in monitoring and logging activities, conduct system health checks, and promptly respond to incidents to maintain uptime and system performance
• Write and manage scripts in languages like Go, Bash, or PowerShell to automate repetitive tasks and improve operational efficiency
• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot containerized applications using tools like Docker and Kubernetes in cloud-based environments
• Utilize Git for version control, manage branches, and contribute to collaborative development workflows

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with monitoring tools and observability solutions
• Basic understanding of security best practices in cloud environments
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and practices
• Knowledge of or exposure with Terragrunt and Terratest
