DevSecOps Expert

Summary

There is a vacancy for a remote DevSecOps Expert to join a team cooperating with a major client's IT team. Responsibilities include continuous delivery, metrics development, DevSecOps methodology promotion, architectural framework definition, technical analysis support, and more.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 16 years of relevant working experience in IT
• At least 5 years of experience in public cloud environments and technologies
• At least 3 years of experience in Amazon Web Services (AWS) covering the following domains: cloud architecture and security fundamentals, containers and their orchestration, networking, high availability design, multi-cloud, serverless compute, infrastructure as code
• At least 3 years of experience as a DevSecOps engineer covering all of the following topics: Infrastructure as code(Terraform, Ansible or similar related technologies), CI/CD and pipelines(Gitlab or similar technologies), Docker, Kubernetes and similar, design and implementation of automation scripts( Python, Perl, bash, or similar Linux scripting) as well as Linux management
• At least 3 years of experience in working in Agile/Sprint based IT project methodologies
• Good knowledge with enterprise logging and monitoring solutions, analysis, and correlation of logs
• Knowledge in modular and microservices architecture patterns
• Knowledge of relational database management systems such as MS SQL, Oracle
• Knowledge of Machine Learning, Deep Learning and Artificial Intelligence technologies
• At least one of the following certifications is required: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional, Certified DevSecOps Professional (CDP) or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the continuous delivery of IT applications using Application Lifecycle Management and automation tools
• Develop metrics and dashboards to measure and validate effectiveness
• Promote the usage of DevSecOps methodologies for IT projects
• Define and maintain architectural frameworks, processes, standards, and guidelines related to systems, business or data architecture
• Support technical analysis and recommendations, such as evaluating and selecting vendor products based on functional, security, and operational requirements
• Review the architecture of existing systems to migrate them to the cloud
• Design, review, maintain and help executing cloud exit strategy
• Design security controls, processes, and procedures for systems implemented using public cloud
• Architect and design API Security, Container Security, Cloud Security
