Summary

Join Version 1 as a Digital Marketing Manager to lead the planning and delivery of digital marketing activities, leveraging various channels to achieve campaign objectives, optimize lead generation, and build brand awareness. You will be responsible for developing and implementing website and digital strategies aligned with corporate goals, creating sector and service line marketing campaigns, and improving website authority and traffic through SEO. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of digital marketing trends, technologies, and tools, and will collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. This role involves managing and optimizing digital marketing tools, establishing a reporting framework for key performance metrics, and working with stakeholders to ensure effective execution of digital activities within budget. The position requires proven experience in digital marketing within the technology industry, expertise in analytics and data interpretation, and excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Digital Marketing Manager in technology, preferably within the IT services industry and a track record of digital marketing success that has driven growth
  • Expert understanding of analytics and data interpretation and a good standard of digital literacy with content management systems
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with a strong and natural ability to listen, understand and deliver a solutions-focused approach to all aspects of the organisation’s digital presence
  • Highly organised with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholder input, managing projects simultaneously with attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Strong understanding and experience of working with PPC and paid social channels, particularly Google Ads and LinkedIn
  • Experience with video distribution across multiple channels

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of continuing website development, leveraging industry best practice and market/competitor intelligence to maximise user experience, brand positioning and impact
  • Collaborate with sector and service line marketing to develop and deliver high-impact, high-quality digital marketing campaigns that enhance conversion opportunities across all channels including social media, PPC, SEO, display etc
  • Work with the content team to deliver SEO strategies that improve website authority, traffic and lead generation
  • Act as a key subject matter expert on digital skills to the marketing team and other stakeholders across the organisation, offering guidance on digital strategy and disruptive trends (LLM SEO etc.)
  • Monitor and optimise PPC campaigns to improve performance, increase ROI and drive conversions
  • Design and oversee the day-to-day output across social channels and continuously refine the social media strategy to increase engagement, reach and visibility
  • Establish a reporting framework for key performance metrics and use analytics, business data and insights to inform digital decision-making as required
  • Manage and optimise our usage and reporting of digital such as Google Analytics (Universal/GA4), HubSpot, WordPress, Google Search Console, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Microsoft Clarity, SEM Rush etc
  • Work with key stakeholders across the business to ensure to ensure effective execution of digital activities to achieve business goals, and efficiently deploy available resource, managing to within a given budget
