Summary

Join ImageX's dynamic team as a part-time, remote Digital Marketing Strategist. Develop and execute high-impact digital marketing strategies to maximize client SEO/GEO campaign and digital advertising performance across various platforms. Collaborate closely with clients, understand their business goals, deliver tailored solutions, and drive measurable results. Steer ongoing services work and demonstrate strong familiarity with the digital agency world. This ongoing contract position offers approximately 10 hours per week, with potential for increased hours or a full-time role. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with pay-per-click management experience (Google Ads)
  • 5+ years of experience with social ads management experience (Meta, LinkedIn, etc)
  • 5+ years of demonstrable experience on client facing projects with the following: Configuring Google Analytics (custom definitions, key events, exploration reports, etc), setting up Google Tag Manager (tagging, event tracking, etc) and configuring Looker Studio
  • A proven track record of hitting targets and executing your work to a very high standard in a client facing environment
  • Strong ability to understand, translate and communicate technical as well as business requirements
  • Possess a high level of confidence in consulting with clients on topics such as digital marketing strategy best practices, long-term solutions and/or strategies to facilitate growth
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
  • Experience in a client facing role in a similar capacity with a Digital Agency

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute high-impact digital marketing strategies to maximize the performance of our clients’ search engine optimization (SEO) & generative engine optimization (GEO) campaigns, and digital advertising efforts across platforms such as Google, Meta, LinkedIn, and other social media channels
  • Collaborate closely with clients to understand their business goals, deliver tailored solutions, and drive measurable results
  • Steer ongoing services work and demonstrate strong familiarity with the digital agency world
  • Consult our clients with a full spectrum of digital marketing support across a wide-range of digital marketing channels
  • The range of services will be provided throughout the client lifecycle, including consulting during the new project phase and in service agreement support
  • Analyze their current situation and make strategic & tactical recommendations to help them accomplish their goals
  • Work with clients to create measurement strategies to track digital goals & KPIs that will show the return on their investment
  • Apply your expertise to support the ImageX team during the project phase
  • Ensure search fundamentals & digital marketing best practices, that will support our client’s goals, are being considered and implemented
  • Work in systems and tools like Google Analytics, Data Studio, Google Ads, Screaming Frog, and Moz
  • Work on strategic documents like SEO analysis and SEO content strategy recommendations
  • Have exceptional communication and consultative skills with strong expertise in digital marketing best practices
  • Be confident with the configuration and implementation of Google tools (ie. Google Search Console, Google My Business, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads etc.) with minimal oversight to support client needs
  • Be adept at analyzing site analytics & performance, providing actionable recommendation and ongoing optimization to improve digital marketing campaign performance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Google Ads Certification
  • Google Analytics Certification
  • Familiarity with web technologies, such as JavaScript, CSS and HTML as related to digital marketing
  • Experience working with higher-education institutions or non-profit institutions
  • Strong understanding of the development of dynamic websites, user experience design principles and Content Management System technologies (preferably Drupal)
  • Active involvement in digital marketing communities while tracking new trends and opportunities that can be leveraged for clients
  • Bachelor's Degree, certifications in related fields

Benefits
