Summary
Join Granicus as a Digital Media Analyst and be responsible for the strategy and execution of digital media spends across various platforms. Collaborate with the Digital Media Manager, Strategist, and other teams to coordinate campaigns and reporting. Assist in evaluating RFPs and creating proposals. The ideal candidate is logical, possesses strong writing skills, and has a sharp attention to detail. You will develop and manage digital campaigns, learn paid search campaign management, maintain understanding of industry trends, interact with clients, and monitor campaign budgets. You will also provide instructions to specialists, offer digital marketing strategy consultation, ensure accurate UTM tracking, and generate performance reports.
Requirements
- Experience using Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, LinkedIn, and others
- Google Ads and Microsoft Ads certifications are required within 90 days of employment
- Ability to work on multiple projects in a deadline driven environment
- Passion for digital marketing and keeping abreast of new trends, technologies, and advertising platforms (e.g. Pinterest, TikTok, etc.)
- Experience using analytics and/or reporting tools (Google Analytics, Looker Studio, etc.)
- Exercises critical thinking and an inquisitive mindset to conduct thorough analysis that results in actionable insights
- Communicates clearly and effectively in both written and verbal forms
- Ability to analyze traffic from paid media campaigns to gauge success and determine optimization strategies
- Maintains high standards and provides work that is professionally composed and free of error
- A degree is not a requirement. The ideal candidate has a minimum of two years of industry-agnostic experience managing paid media campaigns
- Responsible for Granicus information security by appropriately preserving the Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability (CIA) of Granicus information assets in accordance with the company's information security program
- Responsible for ensuring the data privacy of our employees and customers, their data, as well as taking all required privacy training in a timely manner, in accordance with company policies
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage digital campaigns across various platforms including but not limited to Google, Microsoft, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Spotify, and LinkedIn
- Develop and execute strategy for paid search, social media, display, programmatic, connected tv, and other paid media campaigns
- Learn and develop mastery of all elements of paid search campaign management, including the tactics of search engine marketing and the tools used to implement them
- Maintain an understanding of industry trends, and research related media
- Interact with clients as needed for approvals and/or revisions, including monthly calls to review reports and outline recommendations
- Execute day-to-day optimization and management of campaigns, including delivery of relevant metrics to clients
- Monitor campaign budgets on a daily and weekly basis and adjust as needed
- Provide clear instructions and direction to paid media specialists on the creation of new search ads, keyword lists, and other digital advertising builds & optimizations
- Supply clients with digital marketing strategy and consultation
- Ensure correct UTMs are applied to all paid campaigns for accurate reporting and analysis
- Assist in generating monthly performance reports for all clients, including ability to recognize errors and troubleshoot the data
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent)
- Travel & tourism industry experience or knowledge
- Experience with digital advertising platforms including Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, Facebook, Instagram, etc
- Experience with Google Analytics or Adobe Marketing Cloud
- Digital agency and/or consulting experience
