Summary
Join Robert Bosch GmbH as an intern to contribute to the design of user experiences for connected biking solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers and designers, to conduct research, ideation, prototyping, and testing. Your role will involve ensuring designs are functional and aligned with technical feasibility, working with product management and development teams. You will be part of an interdisciplinary team of designers and technology professionals, utilizing modern design tools and working both remotely and on-site.
Requirements
- Studies in the field of Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design or comparable
- Familiarity with UX design principles, wireframing, prototyping, and user research is essential
- You work structured and reliable with good communication skills
- You are motivated, creative, team-oriented, and able to collaborate in cross-functional teams, focusing on user needs and design excellence
- Fluent in English
Responsibilities
- Support the design of meaningful and engaging user experiences for our connected biking solutions
- Contribute to enhancing the overall user experience of our products, focusing on user needs and business objectives
- Collaborate closely with cross-disciplinary teams, including engineers and fellow designers, to assist in the research, ideation, prototyping, and testing phases of product development
- Help create intuitive interactions that resonate with cyclists
- Work alongside product management and development teams to ensure that your designs are both functional and aligned with technical feasibility
- Thrive as part of an open-minded, interdisciplinary team of designers and technology professionals
- Utilize modern design tools, working both remotely and on-site
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with design tools such as Figma, or similar software is desirable
- Familiarity with connected products and their implications for user experience design is beneficial
- Any background or skills in software or hardware design are a significant advantage
- Basic knowledge of usability testing and experience in design methodologies is a plus
- Fluent in German is an advantage
