Requirements

  • Proven experience as a UX/UI Designer or similar role, with 3-4 years of hands-on design experience
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Miro, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator; familiarity with Maze is a plus
  • Strong portfolio showcasing design projects, particularly in digital media and web applications
  • Excellent visual design skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices
  • Ability to effectively communicate design concepts to non-design stakeholders
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborative environments
  • Proficiency in Jira for managing project tasks and collaborating effectively (a plus)
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently while aligning with team objectives

Responsibilities

  • Conduct product research to inform design decisions and strategies
  • Synthesize data findings to create user-centered design solutions
  • Design and deliver high-quality UX/UI products in line with brand standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and editorial, to align on design goals and solutions
  • Present design concepts and proposals to stakeholders with clarity and confidence
  • Iterate on designs based on user feedback and testing
  • Ensure pixel-perfect execution of designs, focusing on typography, color theory, and overall visual aesthetics
  • Take projects from inception through to final delivery, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met
  • Maintain a proactive approach, remaining self-sufficient while being open to guidance and feedback from leadership
