Senior Product Designer

Summary

Join Wealthfront as a Senior Product Designer to contribute to a new business line. Reporting to the VP of Design, you will collaborate with a team of senior designers to define and craft delightful user experiences for our financial products. Leveraging quantitative and qualitative research, you will build end-to-end experiences that meet customer and business goals. Success requires strong communication, critical thinking, design expertise, and execution excellence. Passion for consumer financial technology is highly desirable. Requirements

• 5+ years of product design experience in a consumer software company
• Portfolio of high-quality work that shows your experience designing elegant and visually engaging solutions to complex problems that directly solve user needs
• Structured, intentional approach to your work, leveraging frameworks and principles to articulate your design decisions
• Experience collaborating with product managers, researchers, and content designers in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to communicate and present ideas clearly
• Reliable self-starter who can steer their work with minimal oversight
• Ability to design for the entire product process from strategy to pixel—and demonstrate a range of skills from high-level flows to detailed interactions
• Exceptional product thinker who takes a deep interest in understanding business and customer needs

Responsibilities

• Work on the end-to-end experience of a new business line
• Collaborate closely with other designers and cross-functional partners
• Define the direction for your work
• Build on quantitative and qualitative research to craft delightful experiences that meet our customer and business goals
• Model design leadership, develop these skills in your design teams, and contribute to the company-level design organization in partnership with the design leadership team

Preferred Qualifications

• Passion or past experience building consumer financial technology products
• Deeply curious and interested in fintech
