Requirements
- 4-6 years’ experience with Google Ads, Analytics, Meta, Bing, LinkedIn, various Programmatic vendors and other relevant ad and call tracking platforms
- Experience with mentoring entry level employees
- High-level expertise on tracking tags implementation and troubleshooting
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
Responsibilities
- Pod Team Lead – General Hand off new business that has been assigned to the pod by setting up the CM and DS for success
- Meet weekly with Pod to review status of deliverables and time allocation as necessary
- Formal reviews and weekly 1:1s with direct reports
- Workfront timesheet approvals and distribution of assignments through Workfront for Pod members
- Client escalation point as needed
- Lead & mentor your Pod through change management
- Help develop candidates for a future Director role and leadership responsibilities
- Look for ways to continue to increase scalability and efficiencies within the teams and structures
- Provide counsel and direction for pod team members regarding client recommendations, issues, campaign optimizations and client questions
- Review next month's budgets in the Unlock Media Control Platform (UMCP) for accounts assigned to respective Pod to ensure accuracy
- Manage and solve campaign and account issues, both internally and externally with clients
- Communicate regularly with the Senior Director of Performance Marketing on team issues regarding performance and education/training needs
- Communicate regularly with the SEM and Programmatic strategists on strategy questions, process changes/revisions based on client feedback and identifying needs (tactical, reporting, insights) the company is not currently addressing
- Give and receive feedback easily, comfortably, and regularly
- Encourage others to resolve conflict directly as a first step; get involved when necessary
- Have a solid understanding of operations tasks and responsibilities
- Establish team meetings with Sales/Client Leads (when available), Campaign Managers and Digital Specialists to discuss client business from a higher level, helping them prioritize account work, identifying opportunities for growth (e.g., increased budget recommendations for renewal) and to plan for incoming additional client campaigns
- Be the first stop for day-to-day account team questions or concerns, specifically about account management/services, strategy, reporting and/or campaign issues
- Possess a global understanding of the campaign life cycle and all departmental responsibilities across the company’s job process
- Coach and train on this information as needed
- Stay up to date on new processes, systems, etc.; take trainings with the rest of the department
- Have a “roll up your sleeves” attitude about helping - get in there and help when needed
- Support leadership in company direction, directives, rollouts, communication, and objectives
- Uphold company culture, values and a positive, collaborative environment
- Constructively communicate team challenges, issues, roadblocks, and areas of improvement to leadership
- Exhibit positive support of all company initiatives, setting the tone for direct reports
- Improve processes and create new and better “best practices”
- Look for areas of opportunity and process improvements; brainstorm creative solutions
- Monitor and balance direct report workload, and always have an intimate knowledge of workload; dig into workload-related concerns
- Use creative non-hiring solutions to manage workload where possible
- Be an active, collaborative part of the conversation with a problem-solver mentality
- Participate in department and cross-department projects and company initiatives
