Requirements
- Are a nerd when it comes to SEO and data and are proficient in using SEO tools like Screaming Frog, SEMrush, Google Search Console, Google Analytics (GA4), and Google Tag Manager
- Have a proven track record of helping B2B and D2C brands improve their digital presence through both large-scale website migrations, redesigns and ongoing support retainers
- Are confident presenting to all levels of stakeholders, both technical and otherwise, and are comfortable respectfully challenging and inquiring about certain opinions
- Are known for your excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to craft high-quality content
- All applicants must live and work in the United States
Responsibilities
- Develop a clear understanding of our clients' business, audience, and objectives, then set standards for how to define and measure success of the website
- Ensure all websites we build are optimized for search, user experience (UX), and conversions, using SEO best practices and analytics-driven insights
- Own technical SEO standards internally at TAG, including schema markup, hreflang, structured data, crawl budget optimization, and indexing best practices
- Conduct initial audits and competitive research to understand the current state of the site and identify areas of opportunity for improvement
- Lead conversion rate optimization (CRO) efforts, identifying and testing improvements to drive better engagement and lead generation
- Lead migration efforts by developing SEO-driven content strategies (including keyword research, content gap analysis, and information architecture planning)
- Develop detailed migration plans that map redirects and optimize URL structure to help maintain organic search rankings through any migration
- Define content briefs that outline target audience, key actions, messaging, features and functionality per page
- Monitor site performance and interpret website analytics monthly and help define quarterly roadmaps that support organic growth and conversion optimization
- Lead quarterly business reviews with clients
- Collaborate closely with developers, designers, project managers and account managers
- Stay ahead of the curve when it comes to digital best practices
- Set the standards internally at TAG for all things technical SEO, including schema markup, hreflang, structured data, crawl budget optimization, and website indexing best practices
- Support with driving TAGβs B2B marketing strategy
