Summary

Tapcheck is seeking a seasoned Director of Data Analytics for their growing team. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in data analytics, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. The role involves developing advanced analytics tooling and capabilities, performing data analysis across business functions, and discovering and leveraging data insights to grow the business.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in data analytics, preferably in a smaller company or start-up environment, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field - a Master’s degree is preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive data analytics strategy aligned with our business goals
• Oversee the development and implementation of advanced analytics models and algorithms
• Utilize machine learning, AI, and statistical techniques to extract insights from complex datasets
• Develop, deploy, and own an experimentation framework to be leveraged across the organization
• Pair with product leaders to form and test hypotheses for product enhancements
• Write complex SQL queries and Python scripts to source and transform datasets
• Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover patterns, anomalies, and hypotheses for further investigation
• Translate complex data findings into clear and concise reports, presenting analytics results and recommendations to executive leadership and other key stakeholders
• Map and analyze customer journeys to identify pain points and opportunities for improvement
• Utilize Omni, our BI platform, to build insightful reports and dashboards and source data for your analyses
