Summary

Join Honest Health as the Director of Data Quality and Master Data Management, a critical leadership role responsible for establishing and overseeing enterprise-wide strategies to ensure data accuracy and consistency. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enforce data standards, improve governance practices, and drive business value from high-quality data. Lead the implementation of data quality and master data management platforms and tools, transforming data into a trusted enterprise asset for informed decision-making. Develop and execute a comprehensive roadmap aligned with enterprise healthcare goals, including care quality, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance. Oversee the implementation and stewardship of master data domains, establish definitions and standards, and partner with stakeholders to resolve data quality issues. Champion a data-driven culture and support data literacy across business units. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field, 8+ years of experience in data management (5+ in healthcare), and a strong understanding of healthcare data standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in computer science, health informatics, information systems, or related field required
  • 8+ years of experience in data management, with at least 5 years in healthcare
  • Strong understanding of healthcare data standards
  • Experience with healthcare data sets including provider, patient, payer, EHR, claims, and roster data
  • Familiarity with value-based care concepts, quality metrics (HEDIS, STAR)
  • Proven experience leading enterprise MDM and data quality programs
  • Proven experience implementing and managing data quality tools and MDM platforms
  • Solid understanding of relevant regulatory requirements
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills at all levels and audiences

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive master data management and data quality roadmap aligned with enterprise healthcare goals including care quality, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance
  • Evaluate, implement, and manage enterprise MDM and DQ tools ensuring alignment with the organizationโ€™s data strategy including implementation of change management
  • Oversee the implementation and stewardship of master data domains (e.g. patient, provider, practice, location, etc.) to ensure data is standardized across systems
  • Establish definitions, rules, and standards for all master data domains and elements
  • Partner and collaborate cross functionally with data stewards, IT, Finance, and business leaders to resolve data quality issues and eliminate data silos
  • Engage with project teams to align project requirements with data standards and update them as needed
  • Ensure alignment with privacy, security, and risk frameworks across the healthcare data ecosystem
  • Define and monitor data quality metrics; lead data profiling, cleansing, and monitoring activities to ensure data accuracy, completeness and usability; implement corrective actions as needed
  • Champion a data driven culture and support data literacy across business units promoting accountability data ownership, and continuous improvement
  • Perform other related responsibilities as assigned
