Summary
Join Alloy Automation as their Director of Marketing and lead the design and execution of their marketing strategy. You will be a key member of the leadership team, initially managing one direct report. This role requires a hands-on approach, involving various marketing activities like demand generation, ABM, and digital marketing. Success will be measured by increased inbound leads and pipeline generation. You will leverage your expertise in marketing strategy and operations, working closely with sales, product, and engineering teams. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of developer and product manager psychology and a proven track record of successful marketing campaigns.
Requirements
- Experience as a first marketing hire
- 5+ years experience managing and tactically deploying strategies in (but not limited to) SEO, social, paid search, events, and demand gen
- Previous work with technical products and technical audiences
- Experience owning lead generation KPIs and pipeline/revenue numbers
- Track record of experimentation - generating new ideas, tracking metrics, quickly shutting down ineffective ones
- Ability to partner closely with sales, product, and engineering teams
Responsibilities
- Roll up your sleeves as a generalist IC. Switch between demand gen, digital marketing, marketing ops, ABM, and everything in-between (we donβt expect you to βspikeβ in all these areas)
- Increase inbound leads and help generate new opportunities
- Lead as the expert in marketing strategy and ops
- Be intimately familiar with the psychology of developers and product managers as users and buyer personas to create effective marketing strategies to attract and convert these audiences
- Generate new ideas for channels and campaigns, aggressively testing your theories, and scaling winners while cutting losers
- Stay up to date on market trends and what would capture user attention to drive Alloyβs brand presence and positioning as a leader in our market, and stand out in a crowded landscape
